With up to 32 cores per CPU and up to 64 threads, KNPA-U16 packs incredible power in minimal space. 16 DIMM slots provide best-in-class memory capacity and bandwidth, and an integrated I/O controller on the processor eliminates the data transfer bottlenecks caused by discrete I/O chipsets for reduced latency and dramatically faster system performance.

With SATA 6Gbps or PCIe Gen3 x4 bandwidth, KNPA-U16 features one M.2 with up to 32Gb/s data-transfer speeds and up to 22110 form factor. It is the perfect choice for an operating system or application drive, providing faster access to data.

Support for up to six NVMe SDDs

KNPA-U16 supports up to twelve SATA drives via two Mini-SAS HD and four SATA connectors for more connectivity with external devices and cleaner cable routing. With six onboard OCuLink connectors that provide efficient port-to-port connection with NVMe devices, KNPA-U16 eliminates the need for PCIe transaction cards, while providing the reduced latency and higher maximum bandwidth of NVMe technology.

Flexible expandability with six PCIe slots

With the scalable PCIe lane support of AMD EPYC processors, KNPA-U16 provides flexible expandability with six PCIe slots, as well as one connector for OCP 2.0 Mezzanine card support for applications that require high-bandwidth to transfer large data such as data center, HPC, web-hosting and enterprise uses.

Comprehensive IT Infrastructure Management

KNPA-U16 features an embedded iKVM module and is bundled with ASUS Control Center to provide comprehensive out-of-band and in-band management features for small and mid-size businesses.

The embedded ASMB9-iKVM module supports remote BIOS updates, fan control, standalone KVMs, video recording, and BSOD capture, providing around-the-clock remote monitoring and diagnostics - even if the operating system is down or offline - through a user-friendly, web-based graphical interface that works with all major browsers.

ASUS Control Center (ACC) is a centralized and integrated IT management platform for monitoring and controlling ASUS commercial products, including servers, workstations and digital signage.
