Our new tiering solution is a secured (non-opened source) filter driver. The architecture establishes a presence in the management layer of the host server and can manage any underlying hardware. The solution supports any/all block-level storage devices and structures it as storage space, with enhanced granularity of fast/faster/fastest media recognition.

The Series 8 ""Q"" products are equipped with maxCache Plus, supporting both caching and tiering functionality. This technology allows IT managers, system integrators, and ISV's to garner the fastest performance and best overall value from their storage assets.
