A few months ago, AMD launched their ATI FirePro V8800 card to compete with Nvidia's Quadro workstation cards. A leaked product information PowerPoint slide circulating around the internet provided spec comparison of the "Cypress" cards to the Quadro FX 5800.
We all know that the ATI FirePro V8800 is the Cypress card featuring 2GB GDDR5 memory. What about the other Cypress card with 4GB? The new FirePro lineup contains the ATI FirePro V3800 to V8800. We can only conclude that the 4GB Cypress card stated from that PowerPoint slide to be the latest FirePro card of the line; the ATI FirePro V9800.
